Alexis Chitwood, MBA

CTIO

Alexis Chitwood serves as Chief Technology & Innovation Officer for 2Serve Together, bringing more than a decade of experience in technology, engineering leadership, operational strategy, and organizational transformation to the mission of supporting and connecting women veterans.

Professionally, Alexis is a senior technology leader with a career spanning engineering operations, quality engineering, site reliability and platform engineering, process management, and large-scale technology transformation. She currently serves as a Senior Director at Raptive, where her work has focused on building high-performing engineering organizations, improving the systems and processes behind complex technology, and creating new ways for teams to operate more effectively.

A significant focus of Alexis’s recent work has been the practical application of artificial intelligence within engineering organizations. She has led efforts to integrate AI into software development workflows, knowledge management, automation, and operational processes—with an emphasis not simply on adopting new technology, but on using it to solve meaningful problems and produce measurable outcomes.

That same philosophy shapes her work with 2Serve Together. As CTIO, Alexis is focused on helping the organization use technology, data, automation, and emerging tools to expand its reach, strengthen its operations, and make it easier for the team to serve women veterans at scale. She believes technology should reduce administrative burden, connect people more effectively, and give mission-driven organizations more time to focus on the people they exist to serve.

Outside of her professional career, Alexis is deeply involved in nonprofit service. She serves in marketing, communications, and web development leadership for the Texas Valor Project, an organization dedicated to helping veterans and first responders access treatment for traumatic brain injuries. Her work has included digital strategy, fundraising campaigns, event support, website development, donor engagement, and finding creative ways to use technology to amplify a nonprofit’s mission.

Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and an MBA. She is also the wife of retired U.S. Marine Corps First Sergeant Joshua Chitwood, making the military and veteran community an important part of both her personal life and her commitment to service.

Alexis brings to 2Serve Together a belief that innovation doesn’t have to mean complexity. The best technology is often the technology that quietly makes it easier for people to connect, serve, give, and get the support they need—and she is honored to help build those systems in service of the women who have served our country.
